Once review
Once is my favorite realistic novel out there. This was my very first time reading a novel related to wars, normally i find wars unsatisfying as people or millions die for the sake of one individual who had a brain failure during a world meeting or has a corrupted vision of the world. In Once the maim character had a kind heart even though he had found his parents in critical condition and tried to keep people close to him calm while making pin point accurate decisions while choosing between life or death as he goes around helping even the enemies. The characters that Morris Gleitzman had created all have realistic personalities for example Zelda was a girl which still had thought that her parents where still alive until she overheard someone talking about it. I recommend this book to people who are 12 or older as this book explores harsh themes and include hard language that is difficult to understand but this is covered by the way Morris Gleitzman used his adjectives in this text. This is why i love not just Once but all the books by Morris Gleitzman.
So i rate this book a 10/10
